Hm what? Party In The USA went #1 on iTunes, sold 200k first week and got huge radio updates? I'm not saying it will reach its success but according to your logic, PITUSA had a little success in the beginning.

It is for her standards, she went #1 in 17 different iTunes charts, and it didn't even get released everywhere yet.
She's not a big pop girl, she can't be compared with them, but by her standards this is amazing.

Well, it's good.

I really don't care how people belittle the success of the song as of now, I'm happy that she gets her biggest opening sales week yet, and she's doing great on radio. All I can hope for now is to have its longevity and to maintain its propelling status on radio.

And I want a fierce music video. I am confident that Demi will deliver.

She's always had a loyal fan-base. After X Factor she opened herself to a whole new public. The song is really catchy, the production is crazy and her vocals are too.
