That exactly what Carrie Underwood was, or Jordin Sparks when thy won Idol and had post Idol success. Female viewers voted for them because they had that quality of "girl next door." US X Factor cant seem to find a legitimate successful acts post X Factor, and that's very troubling for the show, IMO. They need to find a winner that can sell records.

Honestly this is probably what will happen. A bunch of new release dates, it'll keep getting postponed, then nothing for a couple months until a random announcement that she was dropped and you'll never hear from her again. It feels like they barely even tried with her though
