Pop-R&B sensation Rihanna made a nice return to the top of the Canadian charts this week.
The 19-year-old's third full-length disc, "Good Girl Gone Bad," came back to No. 1 on sales of over 7,000, according to data compiled by Nielsen SoundScan.
The disc debuted at No. 1 back in June, selling well over 17,000 copies.
Elsewhere, the "Hairspray" soundtrack moved up three positions to No. 2, Bon Jovi's "Lost Highway" was stuck at No. 3 for a third consecutive week, and Timbaland's "Timbaland Presents: Shock Value" moved from No. 7 to No. 4.
Fergie's "Duchess" spent its 47th week at No. 5, a gain of four from last week, and after being the top dog last week, Matthew Good's "Hospital Music" dropped down to No. 6.
Michael Buble's "Call Me Irresponsible" claimed the No. 7 spot, Avril Lavigne's "Under My Skin" returned to the top 10 at No. 8, Amy Winehouse's "Back to Black" moved from No. 14 to No. 9, and Linkin Park's "Minutes to Midnight" hit No. 10.
The lone notable debut went to Kat Deluna's "9 Lives" at No. 41.
In the U.S., the hip-hop troupe Underground Kingz came in at No. 1, followed by Plies' "Real Testament" in second, the "NOW 25" compilation in third, the "Hannah Montana 2/Meet Miley Cyrus" in fourth, and the Jonas Brothers' self-titled disc in fifth.
