All these uninformed people in this thread passing judgement while attempting to act like their **** don't stink. The shoes are made from ALREADY DEAD ELEPHANTS. There is NOTHING inhumane, cruel, or disgusting about those rotting corpses being used to make shoes like these. Talk about doing the most. The THIRST never ceases. It's disgusting.

The designers didn't stumble upon some dead elephants and think "Hey, we need to make some shoes, and look at all this skin lying around - let's be economical!". They actively sought out exotic animal skin purely out of vanity - that's still pretty disgusting.
I mean, at least with fur there's a sense of it being a traditional fashion item which blinds the cruelty behind it...whereas with elephant skin they're striving for something new. Hell, is elephant skin even aesthetically pleasing or good to work with?
But I hope the people here acting high and mighty better not have any leather products, fur, or eat animals too. Because you're being a bit hypocritical.

It doesn't really make a difference who did if it was done specifically for a pair of shoes. It's truly disgusting. I mean, for what? So people will buy it?
