@auroraasters You guys, I thought I was a big Kelly Clarkson fan but this guy last night had her tattooed on her arm. It's sad. pic.twitter.com/OnKlYZ1IeC

5 things Kelly Clarkson said while sober at Verizon Theatre
During Clarkson’s Grammy acceptance speech for Best Pop Vocal Album last month, she rambled on about random topics and seemed a bit erratic. The next day, the media whispered that she was drunk.
But many of her fans consider the casual, girl-next-door singer’s Grammy appearance just another quirk of Clarkson, finding herself on the biggest musical award stage in the world unexpectedly. Her Southern charm, vulnerability, and occasionally awkward comments have always accompanied those thunderous vocals. It's part of the reason she's so endearing.
On Friday night, Clarkson performed at Verizon Theatre for a one-time charity concert benefitting the Opportunity Education Foundation. The foundation helps children across the world get a better education through tutorial videos and learning materials. Both Clarkson and opener Tim Halperin, also from American Idol, spoke about the important cause during their sets, celebrating the amount of money raised through ticket sales.
Clarkson also thrilled the audience with off-the-wall commentary, which kept the audience laughing throughout the evening. Here are the best sidebar stories from the concert. You be the judge if she was tipsy or simply being herself.
1. “Ain’t Nobody Got Time for That”
She explained that education is near to her heart because her mother is a retired teacher. She went on to imitate -- spot-on, we might add -- the viral phenomenon Sweet Brown, famous for her “Ain’t Nobody Got Time For That” video. The audience roared with laughter. Clarkson made sure to mention she wasn’t acting this way because she was drunk.
2. Beyoncé bling
Her sparkling engagement ring was a topic of interest throughout the show. Clarkson revealed just how happy she is with her future husband Brandon Blackstock. When a fan threw her a shirt that said, “Marry Me” on the front and “Husband #2” on the back, she flashed her “Beyoncé Bling” as an answer. But she didn’t end there: Clarkson discussed about what it would be like to have more than one husband and threw in how Mormons have multiple wives. Then she defended her atypical conversation: “I’m gonna stop talking … I’m being more open cause I’m home.”
3. Incestuous adoration
During a sassy cover of the Pistol Annie’s “Hell on Heels,” she gushed about wanting to be one of the Annies. Her love of country music has been a source of inspiration and continues to supply some of her strongest onstage covers. She named Trisha Yearwood and Reba McEntire as some of her heroes, but corrected herself after mentioning McEntire. “I can’t say Reba anymore because she’s my future mother-in-law! That’s incestual.” McEntire’s husband be also be Clarkson's manager.
4. Picked on by her older brother
Since she’s the youngest sibling, Clarkson says she got picked on a lot. She specifically called out her older brother, Jason Clarkson, and how he used to pin her to the ground and spit right above her. As soon as it was about to hit her, he would suck it back like a bungee cord. Although she didn't say he was in the crowd, Clarkson pointed and exclaimed, “That’s freakin gross Jason Clarkson!” Yes it is.
Finally listened to Kelly's new song. I like it! It's cute and sassy. The one thing I didn't like was the Pistol Annies backing up. They added too much twang for my likings.
Aben went on the KCE and gave us the correct lyrics to Ain't Gonna Like This.
So what if I like the sound of
A little bit of rock and roll
So what if it's just my thing to like
the rhythm of some soul
if you don't like Bonnie,
if you don't like Prince,
you ain't gonna like this
so what if I like to dance
to some blues in the pouring rain
it doesn't mean I can't turn it on
when ol' George says "Give It Away"
if you don't like Stevie,
if you don't like Vince,
you ain't gonna like this
Singin' what I'm feeling inside
I don't care what it is, what you call it, here it is
if you don't like what I dig
you ain't gonna like this
you ain't gonna like this
So what if I like some country
whether it's the music or the men
so what if I like the mood
that Coltrane puts me in
if you don't like Johnny,
and if you don't like Elvis
you ain't gonna like this
you ain't gonna like this
Singin' what I'm feelin' inside
I don't care what it is, what you call it, here it is
if you don't like what I dig
you ain't gonna like this
you ain't gonna like this
Singin' what I'm feelin' inside
i don't what it is, what you call it, here it is
if you don't like what I dig
if you don't like Reba,
if you don't like Trisha,
if you don't like Aretha,
I don't even wanna meet ya
If none of my heroes make your list
well then you ain't gonna like this
That's gonna be one of my new anthems. A lot of people give me crap on the music that I listen to, that includes my own family lol So this is like the perfect song
