I think I'm going to start acting homophobic because when I stand up for my friends or others who are homosexual, I get chastised by other friends, family, and bible-belt Christians. It's sickening to me but I'm tired of getting questioned, ridiculed, etc when I'm doing nothing wrong. I hate my life.

Are you honestly serious?
No matter what, don't ever change YOUR OPINION because it does not match others. That's like being sorry for having a mind.
If they question you tell them you're not a true friend/family member if you do that just because I know what's right and wrong.

Seriously, please don't do that. There are too many homophobic acting straight males in the world as it is. At the most, just don't say anything about your thoughts on homosexuality at all. What if one of your friends thinks you actually are homophobic and it breaks them? Don't let their negativity seep into you. Also on a less serious note, I'm a girl and I think it's really attractive when straight guys are openly accepting of homosexuals and I know I can't be the only one. If that helps your decision at all
Guys, I really do not want to do that, SERIOUSLY I DO NOT, but my family asks me constantly if I'm gay because of some of my friends (not all just some), if/when I go to church they say "you need to go the right way", and things like that. It's tiring on me, but when I said "homophobic", I misspoke. I just meant staying silent -- but how much better is that?
So your family is the main problem here. Family does not always know best. I know how difficult it can be to realize that your family is wrong or they're not the best for you. I had another issue where I decided I was better off away from my family. It was really hard to make that decision but they were only dragging me down and making me feel bad when I was doing nothing wrong. I'm not going to tell you to straight up leave your family in the dust because that's not my place but just know that you don't owe anything to them and they do not have a right to make you feel lessor. Everyone wants a happy family but not everyone gets it and that's just a harsh truth we have to deal with.

I think I just needed to hear (see) that to realize it.
I think I'm just going to move away, it's so annoying here.
