It's highly unlikely that she's going to release something like NOBTR and you know that. Regardless of what her lead is it will smash - her last one was straight from 1989, complete with plagiarism allegations, and smashed. Her next will be very different accordign to what we know and not in the vein of generic dance-pop that NOBTR is.

You're reaching so hard. So she's managed to become completely irrelevant in the past year just because she hasn't been media whoring, to the point where radio will completely ignore her? Please. Lots of artists take breaks and can come back with the right single. She's LADY GAGA. She's in her own lane and has established herself as a unique artist in the pop world. She has power behind her name now. When she throws a single out people WILL listen.
The Born This Way era had no longevity though, especially in comparison with TF/TFM.
I feel like Gaga alienated herself from the GP with Born This Way. Yes, it gained her a much bigger, and much more dedicated stanbase, but - to most people - she is yesterday's news tbqh.

If Feel This Moment, Suit + Tie and Scream & Shout can be hits, I think it's clear the radio can do worse than whatever Gaga has up he sleeve.

The BTW era did not capture the GP's imagination like the TF/TFM era, not by any stretch of the imagination. It only captured the imaginations of her - albeit every large - stanbase.
The Youtube rule may help her on the singles front. I guess maybe her videos have become less special over time but as a casual for pretty much all of these women, her videos were the ones I heard most about/was most likely to watch if any. She has a strong enough base that if launched with a video, I could see her picking up top 5 singles on the Hot 100 right on release week, even if they fall thereafter.

I don't think she'll flop but it won't be super successful. The first single will probably go #1. I hope she sells at least 1M albums first week but I feel like it could be a little less. It all depends on how the promo & first single is. If the 1st single is a worldwide hit and there is enough promo, ARTPOP will not flop
