I love Alicia but this album is gonna stop selling soon, when GOF dies. The rest of the songs are lackluster

I found this on another music forum.

I decided to post the first 13 week sales run of Carrie Underwood & Maroon 5 in comparison to Alicia's. I see people are saying she is 'Flopping' or 'Under-Performing'...

Alicia will sell 600K off the strength of "Girl on Fire." It's time for RCA to choose "Tears Always Win" as the next single. Judging by this chart analysis, it's not impossible for her to go platinum.

She needs to release the best track AKA Fire We Make.

She needs to release, or at least make videos for, When It's All Over, Fire We Make, Limitedless and One Thing. I don't know why Brand New Me was released when it's one of the weakest songs on the album.

 @ your singles choices.
Tho I kinda like Brand New Me. Not the whole thing, but when she starts to scream... damn, I feel it!

Brand New Me is not a bad song at all, but it's not a single seller and it's damn sure not an album seller.
She needs an Urban smash. Urban smashes are what usually sell Alicia's albums. GOF did well on Pop, but now it's time to focus on Urban radio.
Fire We Make and Tears Always Win should have been released YESTERDAY.

She doesn't have many choices for a follow up pop single. All songs on the album incline only to urban/urbanAC audience...Actually only New Day and maybe Limitedless are quite pop friendly. However I don't see "New Day" cutting it for a smash single..and "Limitedless" could flop like a bitch.

I think Tears Always Win has potential on Pop, especially seeing how Top 40 radio is not as straightforward "Pop" as it was last year.
One Thing could be good for Top 40.

With the right video, 'That's When I Knew' could play out like 'If I Ain't Got You' or 'Like You'll Never See Me Again'.
With a little bit of sleek and sexy, plus some cute Egypt footage, 'When It's All Over' could slay the R&B/Hip-Hop chart.
Some pretentious Frank-esque video for 'One Thing' could change what people think of the album (thanks to the horrible first single).

Another single just needs to be released soon before sales start to fall off.
Every song on the album except Not Even the King and 101 is a huge step up from the dreadful Girl On Fire and boring Brand New Me so as long as she doesn't release those two songs then she should be able to keep steady and make it to platinum.

That's When I Sleep does NOT need to be a single

I think she'll be releasing a deluxe edition of the album later on. "Not Even a King" is more like "If I Ain't Got You" than "That's when I knew"
I think "That's When I Knew" would be good for a 4th or 5th single, but I don't think RCA will go that far unless the third single does moderately well.

Tears Always Win or One Thing should be her next single.

New Day needs to be released next, and is there a thread for the STWOF Tour?
