I expected her to go there since "Skyscaper" did. She went for a more radio friendly song this time and I highly dislike the song. I am happy for her tho.

Yeah she did it with Skyscraper, but it's hard for an artist to repeat that, especially someone who isn't a radio staple. She doesn't have her Disney show anymore & her story has long been told. This was just her core fans sending the song to #1 and I'm proud of her I'm sure Bruno will takeover tomorrow or Friday, but that's not the point. It'll sell 200k+ without a banner & it was her first song to peak high worldwide too. Plus she's just got 34 adds on radio including Z100 & KIIS.

Demi was recently a judge on XFactor. Surely, it's not just her "core fans" sending it to #1. Does she even have that many?

It's not exactly like XFactor brings in the audience she's looking for her. Almost everybody who performed on XFactor didn't see an increase at all. And she has quite a big fan base. Anyone that comes out of Disney does.

But she was a JUDGE. Surely, she got some exposure from that show. It's not just her core base buying this song, and I don't know why people are so surprised to see her at #1.
