No one said that dear, the official NIELSEN report that came out last weak proves Rihanna has sold 47 million solo singles, is it so hard to get ? LOL.

Her 15 singles all together stand at 41 millions if you add the rest of her solo singles, they do not exceed platinum status so it is around 47-47.5 millions. This is AS clocked as you can get!

I meant catastrophic in the fact she went from two 6 million-sellers to now barely scraping gold and managing 2 million+ is a celebratory moment for her fans.
Rihanna's clearly a lot more consistent, albeit I have argued in the past I'd enjoy if her sales were a tad bit larger due to their radio exposure. Gaga has been on a sharp decline since "Poker Face" in terms of singles success, with the excellent "Bad Romance" stepping up to be her last great moment before she really hit the brick wall.
Yes it is true BTW singles sold more than TTT, but it had more commercial releases. TTT era really only had WFL and WHYB to push for it in the singles department, considering YDO release was messy and TTT/BC were urban-only affairs. Despite that, "WFL" is bigger than anything Gaga has done since 2009 and she's sort of just going through the motions of singles success, while Rihanna is at least striking the iron annually with something and is remaining a hot item.
Katy has stolen both of their thunder, but that's for another thread.

No. That list came out in January 20 12 when they said that she has sold 47 million singles.
