I really really like this guy. When we first met we were all over each other at an LGBT event. We kissed, hugged, romantically danced, held hands etc. The second date was more social, so in a pub (obviously not getting off with each other territory - but it went well).

Some part of it is how you view PDA yourself. If you think it's icky - you generally won't attempt it yourself. Just relax, and know that people around you are probably with you on it

But in general I feel uncomfortable with PDA - very rarely I don't mind it indoors if surrounded by friends or acquaintances. But not outside, that's just a general thing. I like to present myself as an individual even if I'm in a relationship. I don't like the gays that expect you to validate them in public because it shows you "aren't afraid to be you". It's an unfair rationalization.

Yep. I'm similar, as long as the other wants it, I'll do it. But I never get much attention, so I never expect to give it. Hence the issue.
