Although there are a million points with which I must disagree (e.g. Paul should have all the votes), these are children so they still need to grow. Regardless, the Beatles, their sheer impact on the new generation, 40 years after they disbanded. When will your faves?
These kids trying are trying way too hard. You can clearly see the, "Omg The Beatles!!! Look at me I'm 14 and I don't listen to popular music! I'm so in touch with the past!! So cool!!" mentality running through their heads.
No offense, no one will listen to them as years pass by.
Our generation of music - Katy, GaGa, Britney, Beyonce and the list goes on... When we have kids, our singers will be the "old people" music.
When our kids have kids, Bieber, One Direction, Selena, Demi, will be "old people" music.
It's like that always. My dad loves music and when he talks about Madonna, Cher, Whitney, Mariah (as much as I love them) I remember when I was younger I would always call them old people music and would listen to singers like Britney, Christina, Backstreet Boys and NSync. My little cousins don't even know who they are, except maybe Britney and Christina, who they call "old".

Yeah, thats the reason noone listens to Mozart nowadays...wait...
Yeah, I liked BSB when I was like 11 but I grew up from teen pop really quickly just like most people do and started to research music outside the top 40. I have realized that good music never gets old. So shut up with that ignorant "old people" nonsense, open your mind and just listen to music without prejudices.

But The Beatles are one of, if not the most, popular musical act of all time

The Beatles were active in the 60s. That's about 2 1/2 generations ago and they are STILL acclaimed and listen to. They are THE defining pop act of modern pop/rock music.
