The following isn't shade at all, in fact I love Rita and wish her infinite success. But getting a #1 in the UK and getting a #1 in the US are two very different accomplishments. I wish she would just happen in the US already, I mean she was close with How We Do but then it just tanked.

I'm hoping now that she happened in the UK and is huge, some of that will transfer over to the US when she releases the new album she's been working on.

I can see her getting as successful as Katy Perry one day, if she plays her cards right.
