I'm sorry, but this statement is ridiculous. The music that comes out of X Factor isn't that bad, and a lot of it is pretty good. Also, the people that make the "X Factor s**t" are pretty talented considering they made it to the final rounds of a singing and performing competition, really. So to deem it all as "s**t" just sounds so bitter.

Well he does have a point, I like 1D for what they make but in 6-7 years from now, they'll be forgotten and I don't know if they will be proud of the music they made just because it's so mainstream pop.
Sure they'll have all the money in the world but I don't think that their back catalogue will be respected as much as let's say an artist who writes all their music themselves...
+ It's not like it's really good pop either, let's be honest here... it's fun, lovely but it's not groundbreaking or anything.
