Putting THAT much GDDR5 memory in the console is INSANE! most modern day PC graphics cards have 1-3GB of GDDR5... that's going to be a ton of power and it'll def be a lot more powerful than the Xbox 720 if they only have DDR3.

The thing that will suck for Sony is that they'll certainly be selling this for a loss. I wouldn't mind paying $600 or so at launch but that memory alone will cost them quite a bit. But if this ends up having the advantage over the 720, it'll be worth it in the end.

So a game on Xbox is somehow more exciting to play than on a PS3? makes sense

And like someone else said, PS3 sold more than Xbox with one year less on the market so BYE

Not to mention GDDR5 RAM is exponentially faster than DDR3 RAM.

No it hasn't. It may have shipped more, but the gap between sales has increased quite a bit.
