Everyone is so basic this year......

Are we watching the same show or am I really oblivious? I haven't seen anything with Mariah-Nicki since the show started.........could you provide an example of when Mariah "took jabs at Nicki and Nicki payed her dust"?? Like

Mariah's the most technical of all the judges in giving advice, and she is being much more talkative and fluid then the audition rounds. Haters can hate.

Also Mariah isn't really translating for Randy,but she piggy backs of some things that he has to say.
I'll admit that she sometimes does try and help him out, because Randy can get a little confusing wit his wording.

Poor Mariah, she has so much trouble thinking while she talks. But I'm sure its tougher than it actually looks, which is why they could have picked a more comfortable judge!

But she is the most credible and experienced judge to have so I guess it's okay. I think if she focuses on advising the contestants on terms of technicality, that'll be her strong suit instead of reiterating what the other judges are saying about song choice, personality, and the looks.

Also, when she disagrees she makes a point to emphasize why she disagrees cutting her eyes to the side and snickering.
It's there. Mariah is the queen of shade. I'm just glad Nicki is dangling that carrot. Mariah being eternally 12 is getting out her passive aggression while Nicki just ignores it as she still is the judge that is getting the best reviews. Mariah can add all the technical musical terms for her to be the best singer on the panel and be branded boring and not giving the best critiques is enough for Nicki to continue dangling that carrot in front of her.

That said, I was SO here for them doing a song on Mariah's new record.
