She gets points for writing her songs but I don't like her music or her image. She isn't a gifted singer, dancer, or performer. She lacks any artistic depth and her music is not good in my opinion. She's cute though
Her TD era put her solidly on the map and has made her garner a larger fan base from her OOTB days. even though people claim that her music is for children only, her #1s on the Adult pop and Adult Contemporary formats say otherwise. She has room for growth vocally, but that doesn't stop her from making music that I personally enjoy.
5 - I'll give Katy five, she has a nice tone and has potential as a songwriter. I'm not really interessted in her as a person and her live performances leave me distasteful. Teenage dream is also a boring and repetitive album. Big step down from her debut.
