why do i keep getting this feeling that the btw era would have SMASHED even harder if she released the more forward-sounding tracks like hml, scheisse, bloody mary, gov't hooker, etc... i feel like the slick sounds of those tracks would have seen very good single success as well as give gaga a solid rep among both the GP and music snobs.

I don't know about commercial performance, but I think they would've gathered a bigger ammount of critical acclaim.
