If anything, I'm surprised they hadn't tackled it sooner - at it's peak they were known to court controversy for tackling current issues really close to their point of origin.

Always adored this show, but pressed as **** for NBC not accepting Chris Meloni's new terms of contract. Mariska and Chris with the original members were the best cast on TV, bar none.
