Yes because what's more important, your newborn baby's health or your need to exercise your racism over an innocent nurse who is only trying to help your child survive?

I'm always tempted to read comments on articles like this because my curiosity and outright nosiness always gets the best of me.

I believe she has a case because they put up a notice for all to see that no African American nurses were allowed to care for the baby. This man is a fool. He is willing to risk his child's life just because he does not want a black nurse to care for his baby? YOUR ARE IN A HOSPITAL. You are going to have people working there who are not white. If he didn't want to be around black people then him and his wife should have had the baby at home and had a white nurse come to his home . I also feel bad for this baby for having racist parents.

They should have shut down that subhuman asshole and tell him he's getting them black or his child ain't coming out. What is with these people? Doesn't the US have enough money for an at least decent education system?

Did she just compare hating a whole race and being prude because of religion. People are so damn ignorant and she has over 200 likes. You wonder why some were granted the chance of having a brain because it seems they use it the wrong damn way.

On a relevant note, the hospital should have never done what they did, it's uncalled for. Actually they should have just told the man to go **** himself. But at the same time the nurse has no real case, no physical abuse, no verbal abuse, she wasn't fired or refused a promotion.

This isn't even just about racism, she was the assigned nurse and he basically said I don't like you enough to have you near my child, that's just outright rude my gosh.
