Toronto is gay-accepting but does not mean it is gay-friendly.
I'm not sure what "gay-friendly" means anymore. The other day these two gay guys at the mall were holding hands, and the people in front of us turned around and stared at them and were all "did you just see that??". I mean, they didn't instigate anything or caused any problems, so I guess if that's the "gay friendly" definition, than yes it is.
