That doesn't include BMG club sales.

Very impressive. But that doesn't account for several million copies of ...Baby One Moe Time sold through the BMG Music Club and other similar services. Those weren't counted by Soundscan, so its total sales are actually higher than 10.6 million.

Like Duca said, it doesn't include BMG club sales. BOMT sold over 12m copies in US and 14x platinum.
Adele will need a few more years to catch up.
But congrats to her. 21's success is almost unmatched.
If this was early 2k, the album would be at 30m+ in US by now.

Adele reached the Diamond milestone quicker than most of these albums though, at a time when album sales are declining and not even the major pop stars are guaranteed 1M sales. Her power

Amazing I won't be mad if it surpasses since 21 is better than BOMT so I'm fine if she does

LMFAO, No.
Not even Thriller sold that much in the US, let's not.

It had/has better longevity than Thriller though
More weeks in Top 5 (beating Thriller's record), more weeks in Top 10 and it's still in Top 15 after 2 years.
Thriller also benefited from MJ's death though.
It'd certainly be above 20m for sure. And 30m by the time it was done had it been released in the early 2k boom days.

She won't, because she didn't drop another album a year after her massively successful album like Britney did. That doesn't diminish the success of 21.

That's incredible.
Albums used to sell much more back then, and 21 was released only 2 years ago.
HUGE.

You can't deny that this is the biggest album in who knows how long. With ****** album sales, it still managed to hit 10 million faster than most of the albums on that last. I wouldn't be surprised if she eventually passed several other names on that list.
