I will say no because roughly twice as many people from the public chose to purchase Beyoncé's most recent album than they did Britney's.

Beyonce's last album was so heavily promoted, yet it only sold 2.7 million ww. With almost no promotion Femme Fatale sold 2.2 million WW and the songs were bigger hits in the USA and WW.

If Britney promoted like Beyonce she would bury Beyonce.

Beyonces sales are not impressive.

Generally, yes. Britney is a more interesting artist and her personal life is WAY more interesting (since Beyonce is very private). But, that's kind of shifting... people are slowly starting to care less of Britney ever since the FF era ended. She's making her own self a hasbeen when she has so much potential.
