I wonder when Freaks will start to take off on urban radio. I know it getting some spins, but I need more.

Drake's single went Top 50 after a week, as did Wayne's Love Me.The song is already taking off, it's just not Top 50 yet.

It's not getting "some" spins, it's already Top 30 on Hot 97. But the issue is that Hot 97 is playing it but Hot 97 is technically a Rhythmic station, so it wouldn't affect it's play on Urban.

Oh I never knew that. I haven't been listening to the radio lately so I wouldn't know how it's doing on my stations. But I did hear it once, but it was towards the end.

I never knew it either until like five
months ago.

It's licensed as a rhythmic-format station so what it plays affects that format chart, not Urban. It's interesting.

My area is big on twerkin right now so I except it to be big in the Wilmington & Myrtle Beach.
And Coast973 has always riding with Tanya.
They even play "The Boys". And "Catch Me" occasionally.
