RedOne was only good in the beginning because he was new and we didn't know his sound. Now that we know his sound, we know that's the only sound he knows how to do. RedOne cannot compete with Zedd and Madeon since they're actually current and new and will bring something current and new to ARTPOP.
Gaga's injury will have no effect on ARTPOP's release date.
She's getting surgery this week, which means she will rest until the tour was originally supposed to end. After that, she will continue to rest/heal and work on ARTPOP just like she would've if the tour hadn't of been cancelled. She will be back on her feet in three to six month (I'm gonna say four because, well, it's Gaga), which means album before the VMAs.
You guys, she's not paralyzed. She can still wheel herself to the recording studio.
Also, Gaga will be working on the album up until it's time to send it out for mastering. She can still release a single before the album is complete, meaning it doesn't matter if her and RedOne are meeting next month. She did the same thing with BTW.

Gaga doesn't plan on just laying around. She's getting her custom wheelchair because she means business.
