VH1 has tapped Rochelle Aytes to play TLC’s former manager Perri “Pebbles” Reid in made-for-TV biopic Crazy Sexy Cool: The TLC Story.

Despite major backlash Keke Palmer received from fans for being cast as Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas, the Madea’s Family Reunion actress has agreed to play the jealous, overly demanding character.

She joins a well-rounded cast of rising actors, including Palmer, Lil Mama (Left Eye), Drew Sidora (T-Boz) and Evan Ross, who will play producer Dallas Austin. Chilli and T-Boz will both serve as executive producers on the feature.

Production is starting soon on “Crazy, Sexy, Cool: The TLC Story,” VH1‘s biopic of the R&B group TLC and it was announced this past week that actor Evan Ross will be playing producer Dallas Austin.

The 24 year-old will take on the role as Austin, who was not only a producer of many of TLC’s top hits but also romantically involved with Chilli (they have a son together).
