I'm about to reserve GA tickets. I don't know what to expect b/c I've always bought seat when I go to concerts. How long before the show do you think I should get there for a good spot?

I've heard countless stories of people waiting like 12 hours for a good spot in GA. Though when I went to the BTW Ball I showed up like 2 hours before the show, and still managed to get in the Monster Pitt and get front row view.

But I would recommend going down a few hours early to snatch a good spot.

You should be able to, but you will need to be the one who buys the early entrance. It's will-call the night of the show, so you will need to show the credit card and some ID to get the stamp.

I seriously doubt it, Madonna made $300 million from 87 shows, and I'm never one to use the ticket prices excuse, but when tickets were $350 for the reserved floor on the North American leg, this is where the numbers add up. Even with the VIP Packages x # available x #of shows it would definitely add a few million but maybe like $6 million?

The shows are selling out because she's making it cheap for all her fans to attend, when I saw that it would be a GA I was expecting to spend about $150 per ticket based on her name.

After I went to the Madonna show in Ottawa, I completely forgot how 'conservative' Ottawa is. (I'm Ottawa Valley born and raised) I think the schedule is too tight for them to add Ottawa on the 19th or 24th since I doubt they would add another show in Montreal/Toronto etc when they've already been there so it would be financially irresponsible to leave for one show to come back.

As for waiting in line, I don't think that Montreal will be that bad, although I've never been to a show there so I don't know how aggressive a crowd is, but I would get there maybe 6-7 hours early and scope out the crowd. This way you will at least get an estimate of how comfortable you are trying to rush in front of these people and if you think its manageable you can always go somewhere and come back and wait or something.

The hbo doc should book another few dates.

She could easily make tickets for the floor over $100 before any service charges and fans would definitely still snatch them up. I don't think Beyonce is really looking to have an all-time highest grossing tour more just having a solidly produced tour.
