I don't feel bad for the drunk driver at all. The actions of the shooter aren't justified, but I can't say that I would be upset if he was let go.

I'd do the same thing - probably torture him too if those were my kids.

It's obviously against the law, but you shouldn't question the reasoning behind his actions. His kids died by this fool........some of you saying he DESERVES to be in jail are beyond ridiculous. A grieving father shouldn't be incarcerated

It's a very unfortunate situation indeed.

I totally understand the man's pain and irrational thinking and yes decisions are made in the split of a second when put in such extreme situations like this. His actions are now done and cannot be undone and the law is the law, and it shouldn't be bent and twisted because of individual cases and needs, no matter how extreme. He should be punished for his actions completely, but the severity of his punishment is what will be interesting to see.
