I feel so old because I actually remember this
I wonder how Beyonce feels about Britney these days. I'm sure she probably has a soft spot for her

Why do y'all act like the first half of her career doesn't matter anymore just because she hasn't been as on top of her game in the second half? You cannot take those accomplishments and years of ruling the music industry away from her. SHE did it and she'll always have it under her belt.
Beyonce still can't, and never will, reach the level of success and stardom Britney experienced in the first half of her career.

That's irrelevant. It's funny that after a DECADE (2003-present), Bey hasn't outsold Britney's debut album. Even Adele has outsold Bey.
And care to explain why she's not in UWC list yet? How is she a LEGEND, like one of her stans says, if she can't even manage to put out a GLOBAL smash. You tried real hard. Sit.

I'm mad that she never REALLY praised her though, as a huge fan of both.

You tried real hard thinking that UWC Mediatraffic chart is real. There's no such thing as a world chart

This is a stupid statement. Sales were bigger because stars were bigger. Britney being one of those.

The only thing you cling on is sales. At some point selling 7mili and 20mili doesn't really matter in the sense that both albums are comercially successfull.
But Britney has not an inch of the critical acclaim, awards, respect, endorsements and even acting career Beyoncé has. That's why they're world apparts now.
I wasn't even trying to start something, I think my statement was perfectly honest and true.

Being relevant (only commercially) for only 5 years doesn't make a legend out of you. Beyoncé managed to stay relevant in sales, critical acclaim, endorsement for more than one decade and so on. Hence my first post.

Let's not pretend 4 didn't happen. Beyonce hasn't had a top 10 single in 4 years. You're delusional if you think Britney was relevant commercially ONLY. She was everywhere. She was America's sweetheart. Again, Beyonce will NEVER reach the level of success Britney had. It takes more than critical acclaim and endorsements to be a LEGEND. Beyonce was never a phenomenon like Britney was. If Britney is not a legend, then I don't think Beyonce is.

the 4 era gave Bey one of her most if not the most acclaimed album of her career. 4, despite not having a top ten hit, outsold several albums that had several top tens and how is being everywhere a receipt for respect in the music industry

You don't get my point, do you? Don't discredit Brit just because she ***** on yo fave. Da Beez called Beyonce a legend when she's actually not in the slightest. Beyonce can have all the acclaim and endorsements she can ever have but it's not enough for her to become a legend. She can't even send her lead singles straight to number 1. LMAO.

Sis please, Britney was the Top Queen of pop in her prime, Beyonce has never been the top star in pop, there are only a few Top Queens of Pop, acclaimed girls are everywhere, but to rule the world music like Britney did it takes more than sings well, it has to do with the person itself, I know so much people that dont even know who beyonce is, and let me tell you everyone knows who is the LEGENDARY BRITNEY SPEARS, and the level of fame yes it matters you delusional stan, everyone knows who are madonna, michael jackson, the beatles, elvis, like Britney. The best you can do is forget about your mental issues ideas and come back to reality.
