My point about Bey saying it is that she hides everything about her personal life from her fans. It's very much about the music with her (as it should be). I don't see how being a private person precludes talking about traumatic experiences. That's not opening up about every single aspect of your life. Suppose she was coming forward about being abused as a child or in a relationship? Would you say it's a publicity stunt as well? That's a rather disturbing mentality to have.
