I'm not surprised by this at all, bears are really intelligent animals and animals in captivity commiting suicide is quite common. This is why I boycott zoos, circuses and aquariums etc and everyone else should too!
Anyway, this is so depressing. Not to discriminate or anything but these people are doing it for centuries now and that's just sad. What's so ironic is that this animal has more compassion than the people.
