Also, the two opposing extremes do not automatically mean they are equivalently detrimental. Anorexia and bulimia are forms of mental illness that pose a much greater and more immediate risk to a persons life than being overweight, and the potential effects undernourishment has on the body are more irreversible. I don't think either extreme should be criticized by the media but I find it much more detrimental to criticize very intelligent and strong women who are probably the best examples for young girls in the music industry right now (along with P!nk) for being slightly overweight (if overweight at all). This women is a complete idiot and I think you are smart enough to realize that whether or not you care to put aside you're ATRL persona long enough to admit it.

Why do we never see these criticizing fat men? Just women...

I think she is being irresponsible as a trusted professional for agreeing to do this segment and Fox News are idiots for making the segment at all. It was unnecessary. A few trolls on twitter does not count as "critics speaking out about them needing to slim down" and it should not be news. Fox News (and other stations) provide a platform for the most ignorant people when in reality their opinion is that of a very small minority. In fact, fewer people than normal were criticizing Kelly on twitter last night for her weight.
