That's the thing though. People ARE sick of EDM. Sure, the big Hot 100 chart has songs like S&S, DYWC, and SN, but none of those are performing as well as they would have a year and a half ago. (Plus, we all know S&S is only a hit right now because of Britney...
)
Sweet Nothing is not selling well, and will be gone soon enough. And Don't You Worry Child is really doing as well as it has been because it is SHM's farewell single. So all of these songs aren't really performing well on their own individual merits.
I'm worried about this era. Not gonna lie.
