Backstreet Boys' NEW single: "Inconsolable"
Z100 premiered it on August 6th. I thought it was a mis-type on their website of "Incomplete."
It's boring. Will most likely flop, just like their new album, which drops October 30th and is titled Picking Up the Pieces.
You can go search for the song on YouTube and listen for yourself.

I must say it appears that BSB is intent on *not* changing their formula. I don't hate this song, but I do agree that it's boring. Maybe back in the 1990's this would have worked. The problem is that there are so many better songs on the radio right now. They're gonna have a hard time finding spots on radio playlists. It might start off strong, but when all of the research and call out come back, this song will plummet and then the BSB will be inconsolable.

i heart the BSB hardcore fans that still are out there, insisting that they still are successful...interesting to see how the album does....but nick is not 17 anymore

Have not listened to it yet, but I will take a guess that it is the typical slow starting pop ballad with boyish pleading and the works. Right?

If it was N*Sync sure I would listen to it but after 1997 the Backstreet Boys got worse even though they did have some classics in Quit Playin Games With My Heart, All I Have To Give, Everybody (Backstreet's Back), As Long As You Love Me and I'll Never Break Your Heart. But N*Sync had so many such as I Want You Back, Tearin Up My Heart was the ****!, Bye Bye Bye, It's Gonna Be Me, This I Promise You, Gone (amazing song!) and Girlfriend F/Nelly (their best song ever and Nelly made it better too!). I think you get my point

I agree with you. The question is, though, are you more partial to N Sync because they were trending more Urban? That's what sold me on *N Sync. Like the "Girlfriend (Remix)" and "Gone," which actually peaked in the top 10 on Urban charts! *N Sync, top 10, urban! I just knew the world was coming to an end.

Wait a second I know those songs made urban but top 10 wow! Those songs are awesome though I sing those songs to myself all the time Gone sounds like Cry Me A River so of course it's a little bit R&B and Girlfriend featured Nelly and also had a Neptunes beat so that was really an R&B/Hip Hop song kind of yet still pop not to mention Nelly was the most popular rapper at that time (and still might be as soon as Brass Knuckles come out lol). You wonder why just about every song Justin has released has charted on the R&B/Hip Hop Charts he was really the only member that was Pop and R&B the rest were just pop. Then again JC Chasez was featured on that 3LW song

Only "Gone" peaked in the top 10. I don't know where "Girlfriend" peaked, if it charted at all.

Okay, this response has absolutely nothing to do with what we were talking about, but you reminded me of Usher, and I remember reading that Usher has a collaboration on his new album with none other than Michael Jackson. I think it was called "She's Fine" or something like that. If this is indeed true, I don't know what I will do. I might very well be looking forward to this more than any other song right now. That will be amazing! I can just imagine it. Oh please, oh please let this be true! Do you know if this is true? Tell me it's true.

Yeah I know I was just thinking since it was #5 on there it must have been top 10 on the R&B/Hip Hop Charts at least that's what I think
