She's not even different. Her music is great but she just doesn't have the "it" factor. There is nothing immediately interesting about her or who she is.
"She is boring."
"There is nothing interesting about her."
The same goes for Katy and Ke$ha. They just knew how to get into the American market, that's all. Marina has everything to go, it's just as a UK native she is put at disadvantage, that's all.
And your point? She has admitted to being bitter and jealous for not having the success she believed she deserves. Again all of you are speaking without knowledge and you think you're "clocking"
Don't care, the point is that she DOESN'T have an alter ego & she ISN'T selling out as part of some "creative experiment." It's a pathetic excuse that she used to keep the little group of xXx~iNdiE~xXx fans she had before Electra Heart.
She's on a small label, is given limited promo and Electra Heart is more successful than her previous album, so how exactly is she a flop? Because she's not as well-known as the major pop girls? This just further proves my theory that most people on ATRL toss around the term "flop" without really knowing what it means.
