I didn't have an issue with the Vegas thing at all (I kinda was for it) until Planet Hollywood happened, lol. I wish they would've just negotiated for Ceasers because it has a lot of prestige and true icons have headlined.

Regardless, I STILL think Vegas is better than another tour. It's so blatantly obviously that a tour would flop (like really flop) at this point if she doesn't wait to build up some demand - that is one of the primary reasons for The Circus' massive success. Vegas will get her the money her team so obviously desires while allowing her to lead a stable, non-hectic life. & when she's done in a few years, she can do a worldwide tour for album #9.

She's so lucky some of her fans were willing to pay those outrageous prices for the FFT b/c the grosses would've been dismal otherwise, judging by the attendance numbers.

I remember back in 7th grade when it came out, or maybe 6th for me..this one girl in our class got the Britney album first, after camping outside of Walmart. She kept telling us Britney sang "What would it take for you to just sleep with me?"and me and the others girls in my class were like "Oh that Britney is so scandalous...no she didn't". And we all kept singing it like that after we listened to it (Britney brought out the gay in me)

Now that I've thought about it, I prefer the Vegas deal to her touring again for album 8 and having a flop tour gross since the FFT wasn't long ago. Hopefully the Vegas shows will be good and people visiting Vegas will want to see her at their hometowns when she tours again. Getting that hype and not overexposing herself by becoming a tour *****.

Album sales are a different story. The bitch needs to put work into it to actually scan a million this time around.

I have high hopes for Forbes this year because of X Factor. I don't use that era but at least it gave her more exposure. And that $18 million paycheck plus her other ventures should be enough for at least top 5.

Sis, she didn't make Top 5 with the FFT and she won't with X-Factor. Be glad that she'll make the list to begin with.

And, the X-Factor was 6 mos. long. Are we really going to call this an era as if it was an album? It was just something for Britney to get some coins and keep the fans cooled down and entertained in between album releases. I still think it was a smart move. Especially with Smash & Slay still smashing and slaying. Who knows where that song would be right now if it wasn't for the initial exposure of the X-Factor? Because we all know Britney would NOT have promoted it.
