Morning shows, especially in the US do about squat **** for sales, and that is all Britney HAS done for the past two albums 
Clearly not working, so yes...she needs to be above Morning Shows, cause this GMA mess isn't working, and neither does Ellen.

So no she's not above anything. You might not think they do much but they DO help. 
Another Ellen interview would be good promo for the album.

Hey britney stans! i'm a britney fan too and i just love her cultural impact given in past 14 years! and I realize it watching a bio show where she's the one featured in it!
I started to know her around 2005 when i was 5 yrs old and the first song i hear is Everytime, Toxic and Oops
in 2007 i started to know her more because of her controversies and songs Like Piece of Me, Gimme More
and at those time I'm already singing her songs
at 2008 I became a fan alredy and that's because of the Circus Era I remember i keep on listening and I say one of my trinities are her 4 singles she release (Womanizer, Circus, IYSA, Radar)
2011 until now I am now more updated about her!
My sister like her too but she dislike her because of her sexual appearance to the audience and I remember recently i sing Don't Let Me Be The Last To Know she was angry with me because Britney is such bad influence in its video!
My fave songs of her are Everytime, Lucky, DLMBTLTK, BOMT, OIDIA, POM, Circus, IYSA and many more!
I'm hoping to have great friends here like in the Taylor Swift fan base thread!
I like her current songs but im getting forward to listen all the songs she released from 1998 - 2007!

Well, when it comes to TV in the US, Ellen is pretty much the difference between Circus and Femme Fatale "promo campaigns".

one thing i love about Britney is she glows on stage. she looks very beautiful on stage better than edited, photoshopped photoshoots. she has little to no bad photo on stage. and when she dances she doesn't make gorilla or goofy faces.

Her new album will not sell worse than Femme Fatale imo (or not much worse), she's still relevant in the music business and each release has hype. And the FF era wasn't a flop like some think, she had some of her biggest hits
