Well, looks like the shows are gonna start in November... If that happens, I hope she releases the lead single by June/July and the album in August/September - That way we at least could get a month and a half of time for album and singles promo... Any other scenario would mean we're in for another FF kind of MESSY era.

i think you're pretty spot on tbh. She will have to promote the album and put on some good promo perfomances in order to draw a crowd in to her Vegas shows. I just hope she steps it up because it's not gonna be an audience full of stans or superfans. I can definitely see her doing this residency thing for a few months and then going on a worldwide tour because if she delivers, the demand to see her in other countries is gonna be high. (Or she might save a major worldwide tour for album 9)

Without promo it will struggle to outsell FF and I've accepted now that the chances of us getting any form of worldwide promo are slim to none.

Yeah me neither the more I think about it. She will most likely tour for album 9 since the worldwide demand will be so much higher. She needs her audience to miss her in order to tour again (see TCSBS)

I hope she at least does a bunch of (less scripted though) interviews around the album's released like she did in late 2011 when Criminal was released. It was a good effort but it was done SO late into the era and done promoting a single that was gonna flop anyway and had no effect.

I'm actually strongly considering going. It'll be perfect because my best friend, who is also a huge Britney stan is moving back into town in November. That'll be the perfect time to take a trip to Vegas especially since it's usually cold here in Chicago around then
