There are hardly any WGWGs this season, and the ones they do choose (black, gay, weird, gospel singer, or all 4) are not the most popular among the majority of AI voters (white pre-teens/teens).

Yeah it's very obvious that Idol wants a girl to finally win again. Almost all of the hot guys got cut (Griffin for example ) and there's basically no WGWG's as far as I know except for maybe Johnny, or whatever that blonde dude is.
But why did Nate get cut? He deserved to be there honestly.

nnn so right. SO many blacks and gheys though! Like, I cannot find a feasible white guy for Idol's returning voter base to latch onto. MAYBE that Jolly guy but that's like a STRUGGLE for me to see. Last year when I saw Phillip's audition at the end of the premiere episode I pegged him to win immediately. I can't see a male winner out of this group. The producers are NOT having another WGWG.
There better be some good females next week. I think my favorite tonight was the guy that sang Grace Potter's "Stars." Generally though I like that young black guy with the glasses.
tbh his voice is horrible. and his teeth needs to be fixed.
