I have a feeling this era could be big - that feeling being helped, of course, by the apparent increase in EDM's popularity in the US.

Well, the thing is, the only song with a radio deal that proved to be a legitimate radio hit has been "We Are Never..." Other songs, like "Dance Again," "Give Me All Your Luvin'," and "Born This Way" (which DID make it to number one on Radio Songs, but was almost instantly dropped from rotation after that), failed to make a lasting impact. Honestly, I don't even hear any of them anymore.
But yeah, there's a reason people would think that. Radio deals tend to burn songs out a lot faster than what a natural climb would bring.
