Multiple sources are reporting that MTV has renewed reality series Buckwild for a second season. The first season finale will air Thursday night. The series, about a group of friends in West Virginia, was annointed as the next Jersey Shore before it premiered. Though its cast members have yet to become the pop cultural phenomenons of the Jersey crew, the show has been a strong performer for MTV, ranking as the number one Thursday cable series among MTV's key demo of Adults 12-34.

At first I thought they gave the Flavor of Love girl a spinoff but that is VH1

It started off really good but got lame as the show went on. It's so obvious that it's scripted.

The new JS on its way, though there seems like nothing left for them to do that we haven't seen already. The first and third episodes (the two guys fighting I think?) were the best of the show.
