Disney's Pocahontas

It really taught me alot, as a child, about life, love, and having courage.

She was such a good role model, I may not be a girl, but out of all the Disney girls (pre-Mulan) it was great to see a strong female lead who saved the day.

And the movie's message about accepting each others differences, and loving who they are, was another powerful point for me .

Great movie, it does t get enough credit for stepping outside the Disney norm, and actually having a message deeper message. Unlike those other girls who did everything in their power to change themselves to get a man to love them or be accepted

That's what I loved about the older Disney movies, they all had this deeper message that no one realizes until they're older. Bambi is another good example, I never realized Bambi had an absent father, until several weeks ago.

It's actually one of my favorite movies! I've watched it at least 5 times after I first saw it.

this will sound cryptic, but I was deeply impacted by the execution scene in Anna and the King as a child.

Pay It Forward also comes to mind.

I remember watching that, it was so tragic, and I still remember exactly how it happened too.
