The money don't mean ****. It's irrelevant in this case, nothing more than a ****ing retirement fund.
And that warning point don't mean ****, I'm just being honest. Y'all, like me, are bitter because we all know that Britney could have been anything, but lost any chance of even being considered as a legend. The difference is, y'all hide it.
But, please, refer to the last part of my last post, it might help. I'm done. I'll always love you Brit, but I'm done.
You're obviously not a real fan if you go about thinking of Britney sacrificing her time for y'all "fans" instead of giving a stable environment for her children?
Who cares if she becomes irrelevant? There are millions of things to do instead of stanning for her during her vacations. Y'all become so fixated over relevancy that y'all forgot that Britney probably hates her celebrity life associated with fame and fortune.
And not at you thinking I'm a delusional fan because I'm letting Britney do what she wants? I'm just being considerate because of her kids and it's not like Britney is a free woman to do everything that she wanted or even have the time to keep up with the standom's nonsense dreams of an ambitious Britney to come back and rock and top the world. She obviously isn't and she's content and secure with her place as a legendary star. And yeah she's a legend.
Congrats Britney.
First Current Mega Star to reside in Vegas. History in the Making!

Probably the most exhausting part of touring is the constant travelling though, so at least she won't have to deal with that.
Great point.

Half of you were saying she shouldn't even tour the next album and are now complaining about this.
When Celine started her residency, she released her album at the time THEN after a year began her residency show. You people act like Britney announces it on the 8th and begins performing on the next night.
Hahaha...

You seem fumed...like you can't afford to go to Vegas or pay for her show.

Exactly. Of course "meltdowns" occur for laughs and attention, but if you sit down and think you won't have to put on the act. The show won't start this year, and if it does it'll be at the very end. They have all the things you said to handle, plus OBVIOUSLY they would not do this while a new album is out.
Good point.

Then again, it doesn't really seem Britney cares about her career at this point anyway.
COngrats to Britney for not being a slave to pressed fans and doing what she and her team wants for her career.
Her publicist confirmed in the statement about her leaving X Factor that she would go on a worldwide tour again after the release of her upcoming album. Her schedule will be hectic.
Good to know.

I know. Lem and Captain are a mess and its not even funny. It's shameful. Like that insane little brother that you are embarrassed to be seen in public with but at the same time they are still your family member.

I wouldn't mind that actually. Do her era, promote her album, releasing singles etc, hopefully go on tour and then do her Vegas show. I feel a bit calm now. Hopefully that's their schedule.
I never considered that it would take time to come up with the show. Maybe that is why she is putting out this album (last one on contract) in the summer. She can release a summer single, promo then prepare for the tour and then go to Vegas. We all know that she will not promo after album release outside of releasing videos so this can work.

Yes you don't think logically so if you say it is bad then it will turn out well. If you think it's a good idea then it fails. I completely see that in the sketchy Britney fans. The real fans know what's up.

Don't be jealous

My only issue would be that her other fans who don't live by Vegas can't see her.
People underestimate the casual fans. Many people at this point would be interested in seeing her. Many people would go to Vegas knowing they can catch a show of hers. It's a way for casual fans to not feel like they are stans going on tour and can say they caught the show while doing x, y, and z. I am thinking about going to vegas for Britney based on when she starts. I wish she'd do it by Memorial day but that's too soon. I wouldn't mind 4th of July either. WHenever she sets the date, I will work my way over there.

What kind of sick contradiction?
Not you using a gif from 2003, taking a quote from 2008 and applying it to 2013. Mess.

Don't underestimate the power of a casual fan going to a Britney show with other events going on at Vegas too as an add-on vs. not wanting to claim going to her tour like a stan would.

Give me a ****ing break.
But most would say that Gaga and Beyonce would only do it for the money and have not made as big of a mark as the past vegas headliners. We all know Britney has so your theory flops harder than your unnecessary and weak meltdowns. The desperation...
And please go...for real. YOu will not be missed at all.

I'm happy she's happy. Britney wouldn't of done this if she didn't want to. Do whats makes you happy Brit, its your life. You aren't our puppet. You'll do great, best of luck!
I never considered her doing this in late 2013/2014 that would be great. She will promote in the summer and work on the show and this will close a stage in her life. If she decides to continue making music it will be with another record label and she will start another phase. I hear it will be with Barry Weiss.

And the meltdowns on here are ridiculous. A one or two year residency in Vegas is not a big deal. she will leave the world hungry for another tour and then do a WW tour for her 9th album. Why is everyone so stressed?

Britney is still relevant, she will be the first current pop girl to get this type of deal. I'm sure album 8 will give us hits WW. Plus she will have time to promote stuff a Wtour wouldn't allow.
Britney will always be relevant. She has cemented her status in pop culture.
She will have hits WW for album 8. I just hope she steps up promo for tv/radio/award show circuit.

Nor should she. Like the Madonna's, Janet,s Michaels of the world Britney needs to keep her VMA legacy in the 00s + her winning awards for her videos and also the Vanguard. She won't outdo 2000,2001,2002,2003 VMAs so why try. Let the legacy stand. Even her 2007 one stole the show. Anything she does will most likely be meh and not nearly as iconic.

Clearly non of you have gone to Vegas. Y'all are missing out. Plus people that grew up listening to Britney are 21+ and older now. She will def have an audience. Its the place for America's youth to party at.
Exactly. I was listening to her when I was 14 and my friends and I still bop to her stuff and have careers that can afford trips to Vegas. Most of the ATRLers here are either in high school or in college and can't afford to go and assume that others can't. Her audience and the older fans that like her but not enough to be associated with stans at a concert rather going to Vegas + seeing a show will show up and it will go well. I just want her to do one performance at an award show or at some press junket that will get press and she does well so people will be excited.

I've said it once and I'll say it again - why are my fellow Britney fans accepting this? Y'all give her no incentive to wake up and want to regain her magic. It was the same thing with X Factor. GOOD DAY.

Get a grip on yourselves, get a hobby, and let Britney Jean Spears worry about HERSELF.

This is what irks about the army, they just never learn.
Are any of us sure if any artist wants to do x,y and z? YOu have no valid point whatsoever and no proof that she is being forced to do it. No more proof than any typical news about an artist performing at a show, booking a concert, booking an advertisement...we don't know that about anyone so why would we allow our minds to go there?
Im happy couse Vegas shows are only for legends!!! + she woudl get a $100 million
However i im worried by the 8th album era!!
This bitch better do WW promo before Vegas at least US, UK, Japan, Australia, France & Germany perfomances!!
Britney better had a great plan for next era!
EDIT:
OMG!!! why is everyine against this!!!
You guys never agree with any move that Britney is doing!! First everyone complains about X Factir now about this Vegas shows!!
Britney is doing different thing!! she would not be releasing albums & Touring all years, maybe other artist BUT NOT BRITNEY!!
I don't see how this could be a bad thing? Like at all?
I think most of y'all just say that because "people who are no longer successful" only do Vegas shows. Firstly, if you ain't successful, you ain't gonna be pulling in crowds at one venue for months on end in one city. And even if you disagree with that (deeelllussionaalll), Brit is always a trendsetter anyway so, she could become the first still "relevant" popstar to do a Vegas show. Just save up your damn coins and go see the queen.
