"Love & Hip Hop" will be opening 2013, primarily with a new cast and new relationships, in January.
Breaking the news Tuesday, VH1 has set the anticipated third season premiere date for the series, which will feature familiar faces like Erica Mena, Olivia, Rich Dollaz, and Yandy Smith.
Viewers will also be introduced, and in some cases re-introduced, to rappers Joe Budden ("Pump It Up") and Consequence. Tahiry Jose, Raqi Thunda, and Jen "The Pen," all women affiliated with Budden and Consequence in some capacity, including past and/or current relationships, join them.
"Fierce free-styling artist Joe Budden is widely considered one of hip hop's most gifted lyricists. His Grammy award-winning song "Pump It Up" was featured in the hit movie 2 Fast 2 Furious. This ladies' man is also known for posting about his very public relationships and break-ups online," reports VH1.
Winter Ramos, a former assistant to Fabolous and a budding author (writing a book documenting her relationships with men in the music industry) will also appear.
Rashidah Ali, an entrepreneur working on her own shoe line titled Encore, rounds out the cast.
"Love & Hip Hop" returns for a third season Monday, Jan. 7 at 8 p.m. on VH1.
Somaya is gone? Hmm.. Well she did kinda fade after that whole Olivia thing. Any who, hopefully Queen Erica cranks up the crazy. "Supposedly" she is dating Rich Dollaz unless she is just under his management.
This season is ratchet but is not OVERLY ratchet which is good. Tonight's episode was good but I'm tired of female rappers who come to these shows and act like everyone knows who they are. Who the hell is Loreal? She came in there saying she is "the best rapper" really? I never heard of you.

This. From reading tha episode descriptions it sounds like it might be good. It's not on On Demand yet so i haven't watched it and never seem to catch it on time

It comes on at 1 A.M. so if I don't forget to tune it back to VH1, I'll watch it.
