It has a better processor, the fastest HTML5 browser, has double the RAM and bigger screen than the iPhone 5, also a brand new OS and big titles in the BlackBerry App World, you can find more reasons here.
Nope, now it's just another touchscreen smartphone after the iPhone. That's not to say it won't do well. The specs are nice and it still has its brand name to sell it (which may or may not work in its favor tbh).
Not sure why anyone would want a BlackBerry w/o buttons. I mean the keyboard was the only damn reason I got mine 3 years ago. As for BBM there's many alternatives like Skype, WhatsApp, KIK etc..
