Well yes, but not just because of that. She's also immensely talented and loved, a very sweet, giving person who goes to great lengths so support other and help people achieve their dreams, has a very successful life, is happily married with lots of friends, and is extremely happy.

I know that Carrie was robbed of several nominations, let's not forget the big controversy when she wasn't nominated in 2010 for EoTY when basically everyone in the industry said that she deserved to not alone be nominated, but win the award to. I agree. Taylor obviously surpassed Carrie but it's because her music is more versatile.

Some people here shouldn't be bashing Carrie, it's pointless, she's great too. I know some Carrie stans are very hateful toward Taylor (not a lot but some are very vocal about it), there's no need to be like them. Some like Taylor and some like Carrie, it's that simple

I can't at how I read in this thread that Taylor's more versatile than Carrie. I just can't. How can you be versatile when you have the Fearless album full of Love Story-type songs? Ugh. She has evolved over Speak Now and Red, but I don't think she's really versatile with the type of songs she's releasing. Taylor's actually going the Avril route and selling out with Never Ever, 22 and Trouble. What a downgrade.

I love them both, but they shouldn't really be compared. Taylor may take the sales and success, but Carrie will always earn the respect and highly views of people.

Taylor can **** all the guy she wants and write a song about it, make it a huge hit. Carrie can be happy with her hubby and be successful in her own way, effortlessly. Both wins.

The more i read threads like this and the more i realise it's actually Carrie stans who start trouble. I knew since some time there was a war between the Taylor and Carrie stans but i wasn't sure about who started it or anything. Carrie fans seem to be so pretentious most of the time ("highly views of people", "Taylor is not even country so she's sh*t", "Taylor just had sales while Carrie is a real artist",... ).
Taylor got a lot of awards and her last album got better reviews than Carrie's last so it's obvious that Taylor is respected too (not saying Carrie's music is bad or anything)

And you guys should stop this "Taylor is not versatile" nonsense. She's been more versatile musically with Speak Now and Red and she wrote a lot of songs who aren't about relationships, most of them are unreleased or aren't singles. Do your research before talking.
