I think both her and her team want the material to drop when the competition is low so her market dominance can be strong .
There's always going to be competition. Late 2012 had pink, taylor, xtina, no doubt, bruno, kesha and rihanna. Early 2013 has beyonce and jt. Mid 2013 has katy perry. Late 2013 has britney and adele. Early 2014 im sure other major pop artists will return with new albums as well.

Drop single when strong single artists are not present and album when album's artists arent.
I dont think ADELE will be releasing , at least nothing is confirmed.. Now would be a great time for Gaga material to drop , but the tour is meesing with that.
SO the album should be pretty much complete if she's working on the traclist right? At the very most she should have only to finish some productions but that means that 20 songs are complete or almost and she has to chose which one to include amongst these
I wonder if she will give us some finished songs that didn't end up on the album through the app.
