I hate the sarcastic British wit and being unable to use smileys. It's not the same. It's just so dry.

But the way both talked in the same way can make someone extrapolate into a lot of members talking like that.

Also, the other comment about a user of that forum saying ATRL has queens contributes to that theory, that they're repressed posers that try to validate liking pop by acting the less gay possible.

I was with Popjustice... but one time I saw a few members bashing 'ATRL', I came to take a look... and I never went back. The flawless humor, the use of gifs and smileys to further enhance your point,the speed that new news/music travels to this site, it's just all better in my opinion.

I love the British humour on Popjustice. It's much easier to digest for me than some of the wannabe 'ghetto' posters that post here.

PJ and ATRL are both awesome and both have their flaws at the same time.

ATRL is awesome because of SYG, because GIFs are allowed, because there's so many users/stanbases to drag and get dragged by and because y'all are lightning quick with the news.

But PJ is awesome because for when you feel like chatting intelligently and getting intelligence in return. It's also great for the much more advanced sense of humour, the lowered level of 'clique' formations and of course the CHER LLOYD THREAD which is my favourite thing in the entire world.

I swear, if ATRL 'got' the Cher Lloyd humour, you would become the best website on Earth. Check that thread and get your life.

PJ is one of the gayest places on earth, just in a different way perhaps. Seems problematic that you equate "real" gayness with being messy and dragging people on a forum.
