I agree with other posts, it was always intended to be released in 2013. When people used to say in the Base forum that we're gonna get it in September, then October, then November, then December, etc etc, I knew it was gonna be next to impossible as she was touring in EUROPE and SOUTH AMERICA at that time. How the hell is she supposed to promote her new album when she's halfway around the world? If she was touring in North America back then, I could understand.

No, 2013 was always the release year for ARTPOP. I have to admit, I thought she'd do a similar thing as Born This Way and promote while on the NA tour, but it looks like she wanted to get the BTW era out of the way and finished before starting on a new era (remember, she said specifically that she wanted a 'fresh start').

Honestly, it's gonna be about two years since BTW when ARTPOP gets released. What are people complaining about? Most albums are released about that timeframe (and a lot of times even greater). Gaga is not Rihanna, she doesn't have people send her a new song, and record it in one day, ready to put a new album out in a few months.

Whatever. If you gurls wanna speculate that she showed her label crappy music (why the hell would she tell Twitter that she played the album to her label if at that meeting they told her to go back and start again?? Think, people......), then I really don't care. I'm just excited about the coming 6 months and am sure to hear some more great music.
