February 2nd of 2013 marked the return of the shoegaze titans with the new LP fans have been waiting for 22 years since the release of their influential masterpiece, Loveless.
The 9-songs set is titled 'm b v' and it's out now in CD, limited Vinyl and digital formats.

The price of the digital download only is the same regardless of the file quality and size.
The vinyl has been recorded, mixed and mastered in analogue. It is manufactured on 180 gram vinyl and comes in a gatefold sleeve with the CD in a card wallet. The vinyl will be limited due to manufacturing restrictions.

The vinyl and CD artwork is currently being finished and each format will have slightly different but similar artwork to the download artwork that will be attached to your download (pictured in main pack-shot on right of screen).

Can anyone tell me about them? Should I listen to their older work before this?
It's not really different from their earlier releases, but it's more inventive I dare say (I think I heard synthesizers!). If you want a starting point get into Loveless now!
The first 3 tracks are pure shoegaze (with Only Tomorrow being the highlight of the first half), the rest of the album is a bit different but even greater, in a way they tried (and succeded) evolve their work and WOW it is amazing, the melodies are impressive as in Loveless and even being a more diverse album, it still creats that overwhelming atmosphere of fuss which made me love its predecessor.
